On October 24 and 25, we’re launching Cheers, a new project brought to you by Barcelona Beer Festival in collaboration with Flea Market. Join us at Port Olímpic in Barcelona for a celebration combining beer, food, music and a vintage market.
We want to celebrate Oktoberfest our way: with a great selection of beers, producers with their own identity and an atmosphere that invites everyone to discover, share and enjoy. No big industrial brands behind it. The BBF philosophy: passion, knowledge and a desire to bring people together to share and enjoy great experiences.
A Beer Selection with the Barcelona Beer Festival Seal of Approval
At Cheers, beer takes centre stage. At Barcelona Beer Festival, we’ve put together a selection of more than 30 beers, combining original German references with beers brewed by local producers working with traditional German styles.
You’ll find classics such as wheat beers, lagers, pilsners, Märzen and Festbier, styles closely linked to German brewing tradition. But there’s also room for other interpretations of craft beer: IPAs, sour beers, porters, stouts and other styles that showcase an incredible diversity of aromas and flavours.
We’ve brought together breweries such as Weihenstephaner, La Pirata, Maresme Brewing, Garage Beer Co., Dougall’s, Espiga, Almogàver, Lo Vilot, Bierboi and Sitgetana, among others. Independent projects with their own character, reflecting the richness and diversity of the brewing scene.

Beers Recognised at the Barcelona Beer Challenge
Some of the beers featured at Cheers have also received recognition at the Barcelona Beer Challenge, the international competition we organise to celebrate brewing excellence. We’ve selected six award-winning beers. Look for them at the bar, where their medals will be clearly displayed on the signage!
We’re especially excited to include some of these award-winning beers in the Cheers selection. It’s a chance to share the brewers’ work with the public and highlight the quality behind every beer.
Beyond Beer
Diversity also extends to the drinks on offer. Cheers will feature a LowAlc bar serving alcohol-free beers, so everyone can find something to suit their tastes. There will also be kombuchas, with flavour combinations such as blueberry and raspberry, or thyme, lemon and grape.
Because enjoying a great drink is all about personal taste, curiosity and the desire to discover something new.
A Different Kind of Celebration, Powered by Flea Market
To bring Cheers to life, we’ve teamed up with Flea Market Barcelona, a project that shares our passion for creating experiences with a personality of their own. We bring our brewing expertise and carefully curated beer selection, while Flea Market adds its world of vintage markets, urban culture, music and creativity.
The result is an experience that goes beyond a beer festival. You can browse the stalls, discover unique finds, listen to DJs spinning vinyl, enjoy the food trucks and share a great beer with friends. We want Cheers to be a meeting place where beer comes together with other cultural expressions and there’s always something new to discover.
And what better setting than Port Olímpic? With the October sunshine and Barcelona all around, we want to make the most of this open, privileged location to enjoy the city outdoors, linger over lunch and raise a glass without rushing. A celebration of meeting people, discovering new things and enjoying what happens when different communities come together around a shared passion.

See You at Cheers!
