1.- Lectures. Will be held at Auditorium, there are cultural and gastronomical lectures, and also presentations related to brewing projects.

2.- Meet The Brewer. Do you want to meet the brewer? This is your chance!

JORNADES PROFESSIONALS The Technical Conference is the rendezvous for beer professionals. Lectures, activities and networking sessions to encourage the strengthening of relationships and knowledge sharing.

VIRRA! Barcelona Beer Festival's collaboration with Universitat Rovira i Virgili leads us to present you a lecture to compare wine techniques to our beer world. This will enable us to explore what these two gastronomic products have in common. Beer sommelier Guillem Laporta (Homo Sibaris) will bring his knowledge to the cause, too.

CAMRA, CASK BEER & PUB CULTURE Real Ale? Cask Beer? BBF has brought traditional British ales to Barcelona. For our visitors to understand better its character, we are pleased to welcome Steve Saldana (Bexar County Brewery), who will give us a lecture about CAMRA and Cask beer, with a little tasting of beer and classic pub snacks.

HOMEBREWING AMB EN BORIS Boris de Mesones is a renowned beer entrepreneur, with a great expertise with brewing techniques. Taking advantage of his visit to Barcelona, he's prepared an interesting activity for homebrewers that will conclude with a Q&A and sharing of knowledge among all attendees.

LLAUNES! Tom Löwe, from the English brewery Fourpure Brewing, will explain us all that is exciting about tins/cans as a container for beer, comparing it with bottles. He will also tell us more about his experience using them for his beers. It will all conclude with a little tasting and a debate between lecturer and attendees.

BEERSTORMING An interactive activity in which attendees propose possible food pairings for the different beers served. Later on a beer-food-music match is actually done. Aromas, flavours and sensory pleasure brought by our mates from Brew Home, with beer by BeerCat, food by Mosquito and music by Gost&Perra.

MALT! Because beer is more than just hops. This year our mates from BomBrewery, Belgium, will tell us more about their experience with malting cereals to later use them for their delicious beers. We will, of course, have a little sample too.

FLANDES ÉS LA CANYA! Flemish brewers from Hof ten Dormaal will guide us on a talk about the Belgian beer scene and how it is currently changing with the present trend of hoppy beers. We will taste their beers, matched with local food treats. Meanwhile, the guys from Belgian Tourist Office Flanders-Brussels will inform us about their routes and beer experiences.

MEET GARRETT OLIVER We are so excited to welcome to the Barcelona Beer Festival Brooklyn's brewmaster: the great Garrett Oliver. He will guide us along the American Craft Beer scene, of which he has been a key player for years, writing also some influential books. We will of course have a little tasting to end the session.

MARIDATGE SENSORIAL 2.0 Second year in a row with David Moya, from 4 Pedres, a pub in the neighbouring city of Badalona. He's prepared a music and beer matching session, playing with our senses to demonstrate how external stimulus can affect our perception of gastronomic products. A stunning activity: 2 hours to change our previous idea about beer tasting.

CERVESA I QUESINOS Cheese and beer are a perfect coupling, all right. That's why Kike Ojanguren, from Asturias País de Quesos, will teach us how to build a match between these two products while discovering why some styles are better than others when combining beer and cheese.

BARCELONA BEER: TAULA RODONA To conclude the 2015 edition, we get back to our Barcelona Beer Festival Round Table. This time we invite local entrepreneurs with beer businesses to talk about the industry, the present possibilities and the immediate challenges we all face.
