BBF has borned with the aim of spreading craft beer culture, so you will find different activities divided into 3 main groups:

1.- Lectures. Will be held at Auditorium, there are cultural and gastronomical lectures, and also presentations related to brewing projects.

2.- Meet The Brewer. Do you want to meet the brewer? This is your chance!

3.- Professional sessions.

JORNADES PROFESSIONALS This year, every participating brewer has the opportunity to join the four free sessions we are offering to professionals. Components, machinery, energy efficiency and taxes will be the main topics .

Restaurant Cooperativa La Barricona, from Ripoll, presents their interesting project, which explores the gastronomic possibilities of beer. During the activity, the attendees will enjoy the results of their investigations, as there will be on site execution and tasting of different recipes.

DES DEL “BEER BANG” A LA PRIMERA CERVESA EUROPEA Manuel Edo, director of the archaeological dig at Cova de Sant Sadurni (Begues), along with Miquel Piris, jorunalist, will lead this cultural activity to go into detail about beer during prehistory: the knowledge, technology, methods… finishing with details about the first European beer and the work at the Begues site.

This time they present a gastronomical activity for a specialised audience, to understand how different ingredients play their role when matched with beer, with practical examples that will be tasted.
